Our chiropractic adjustments are safe, non-invasive, and effective. We use a variety of techniques to restore your body's natural alignment, relieve pain, and improve your function and mobility.
We understand that every patient is unique, which is why we develop custom treatment plans tailored to your individual needs and goals. Dr. Mosca will work with you to create a plan that works for you.
If you've suffered a sports injury, we can help you recover and get back to your active lifestyle. Our sports injury rehabilitation services include chiropractic care, physical therapy, and other treatments to help you heal.
We're proud to offer pediatric chiropractic care to help children maintain optimal health and wellness. Our gentle, non-invasive treatments can help with a variety of conditions, from colic to scoliosis.
We love working with women during and after pregnancy. In fact, we have a special table specifically designed to allow you to lay face down, very comfortably, all the way to the end of pregnancy. Our specialized adjustive and soft tissue techniques are gentle, yet effective at relieving many common conditions associated with pregnancy including sciatica, lower back, sacral, coccygeal/tailbone and pelvic pain. These techniques are also very effective postpartum and for other pain which may arise from nursing postures as well as lifting and holding the baby.
During a manual Chiropractic adjustment, Dr Mosca uses his hands to apply a force to specific areas of the spine, joints or muscles. This force is as gentle as possible but is tailored to the specific needs of each patient individually. These adjustments immediately improve the motion of the spine by calming the nerves, relaxing the muscles and decreasing or eliminating pain. These adjustments, coupled with Dr Mosca's unique Deep Tissue Massage techniques not only make the treatments much more effective in the short and long term but allow for much better postural correction as well.
A range of adjustments that are used to correct affected vertebral segments. The diversified technique is one of the most common techniques used by chiropractors.
Chiropractic Biophysics combines biology, physiology, physics, geometry, and anatomy to identify the causes of your pain, discomfort, loss of mobility, and altered health. That means your diagnosis – and treatment – will be based on sound scientific and chiropractic principles.
Flexion-distraction therapy is a gentle, non-invasive chiropractic technique that can help relieve back pain and discomfort. It involves using a specialized table that gently stretches and decompresses the spine in a rhythmic motion.
The Activator Method (AMCT) is a chiropractic technique that uses a hand-held instrument to treat back, neck, and extremity pain. The device delivers a low-force impulse to restore motion in spinal joints.
Myofascial release therapy is a therapy technique that often uses massage to treat pain in myofascial tissues. During myofascial release therapy, Dr. Mosca focuses on releasing tension in the fascial tissues. This therapy works by applying gentle pressure on sore muscles over a sustained period of time. It can help relieve pain, increase flexibility, and work out muscle tension.
Dr Mosca really emphasizes this modality in our clinic. In fact, it's one of the main factors which makes our clinic unique. Dr Mosca uses his expertise to perform this work on each patient prior to the adjustments rather than using a separate massage therapist. In order for the Chiropractic adjustments to be more effective, it is necessary to break up adhesions and scar tissue which are restricting motion, and not allowing the spine or joints to move fully or normally. Often these adhesions and scar tissue are a source of pain as well and contribute to the development of longer standing, chronic conditions.
